Store Closing Announcement

Dear Valued Customers,

For over 50 years Bozo’s Army and Navy has served Staten Island with work clothing and footwear. Some of you may even remember our business back in its beginning days in Brooklyn. Since coming to Staten Island in 1973, our store spent over 45 years in New Dorp, and now six years in Great Kills, having moved and reopened back in 2018. We are grateful to have been able to stay open through many challenging times including a fire, a global pandemic, and the ever-increasing strains on small businesses from larger corporations and online retailers.

We are so glad that many of our customers have fond memories of coming in to shop or of an interaction with one of our staff over the past five decades. In serving our customers, we have achieved a great sense of pride as well as gratitude for allowing a small family business to establish itself as such a staple in the community for so long. However, all things must come to an end.

The family at Bozo’s is deciding to close its doors. This decision does not come lightly. Running a small business requires a lot more than it ever has in times prior. Bozo’s Army and Navy has always been about catering to the needs of the customer as well as being the backbone of a family. The last few years have shown us that we are ready to pursue other endeavors within our own lives. However, we are beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to serve Staten Island and our loyal customers for the time we did. We believe it is in our best interest to close on a high note, content with the business we had for all these years and be proud of what our family built and that we got to share it with you all.

Thank you to each and every customer, sales representative, delivery person, postal worker, contractor, and employee that has come through our doors and helped us to be the establishment that we have been. None of it could have been if not for you!

Please keep on the lookout as we will begin closeout sales within the coming days and weeks as a token of appreciation to our customers.
